On tooling choices as trust decisions.
I’ve been reflecting on how often tooling choices are really trust decisions.
Do we trust ourselves to understand the platform?
Do we trust our teammates to work without guardrails?
Do we trust that the future won’t require constant rewrites?
Sometimes tools are accelerators. Sometimes they’re safety blankets. Knowing the difference feels like a sign of maturity — personally and organisationally.
