Relaunching on Astro, The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry, and spotting my home town of Cleveleys in a galaxy far, far away.
December 2022. The site’s just been relaunched on Astro — a move I’d been nudged towards for a while and finally made. It felt good to kick NextJS into the gutter.
Started reading The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry by John Mark Comer. A lot of it resonates, probably more than it should.
And Andor. Some of the best Star Wars content for a long time — gritty, political, beautifully shot. Episode 6 in particular: my home town of Cleveleys doubled as Ferrix. Watching somewhere that familiar on screen, dressed up as another world entirely, was genuinely surreal.
